Google is Top Parent Company, FullTiltPoker.com is Stickiest

According to recent figures released by Nielsen Online, Google remained the top parent company in the U.S. in December, while FullTiltPoker.com continued to be the stickiest brand.

In December, Google drew a unique audience of 124.6 million users, each spending an average of 1:38:56 on the site’s properties during that month. Microsoft attracted 123.2 million users, each spending an average of 2:02:22 on the site’s Web properties. Yahoo! was third on the list with 114.1 million users drawn to its properties in December, each spending an average of 3:05:35 viewing its pages.

Time Warner was fourth on the list with a unique audience of 106.3 million, but its users spent the most time on its pages (3:05:35) of any of the other top parent companies on the list.

News Corp. Online, eBay, Amazon, InterActiveCorp, Apple Computer, and the Wikimedia Foundation rounded out the top 10 parent companies on Nielsen’s list.

In terms of the stickiest brands (or the brands whose sites drew the longest engagement times from its users), FullTiltPoker.com topped the list for December. Its users spent an average of 10:51:20 on its site during the month. The total unique audience for FullTiltPoker.com was 1.5 million in December.

Electronic Arts Online’s 12.2 million users in December each spent an average of 7:44:20 on its site, while PokerStars.com’s 1.8 million users each spent an average of 7:33:46 on its Web site.

SingleClick Systems, Trillian, Boost Mobile, AOL Media Network, PartyPoker.com, Yahoo!, and Fanfiction.net rounded out the top 10 list.
