Santa Clara, CA-based Global Market Insite and Planetarabia.com announced an alliance to conduct polls of Arabic consumers from around the world. Planetarabia, Seattle, has a member base of Arabic consumers. GMI owns a proprietary Internet-based surveying method.
The companies also have agreed to run joint marketing programs in the Middle East to promote the polls.
“The use of the Internet in the Middle East is set for rapid growth,” said Robert W. Monster, president of GMI, in a statement. “This alliance will provide our clients and partners with access to the single largest online panel of Arabic-speaking consumers” in the world.
