Direct marketing company GenesisIntermedia.com Inc., Los Angeles, expects to report a loss for 2000, but expected to see improved earnings in 2001 due to lower costs in its Centerlinq network and higher revenues from all of the company’s subsidiaries, according to news reports.
The company, which runs a network of Internet kiosks in shopping malls and markets products through infomercials, added that it expects investment costs to fall this year from last year’s total of about $18 million.
The firm noted it will drop the dot-com from its name in April .
