Fuze Hits the Hamptons with New Plastic Bottles

Posted on by Chief Marketer Staff

In summer, all the action in the New York City metro area happens at the Hamptons beaches on the Long Island shore. And that’s where Fuze beverages are headed this season with a promotion that offers both shore transport and sampling of its enhanced drinks in new recyclable plastic packaging.

In a program that launched last Memorial Day and will extend until Labor Day, Fuze and out-of-home agency Titan Worldwide have wrapped five taxis from the Hamptons-based Hometwon Taxi Service to resemble the shrink-wrap packaging that Fuze’s former glass bottles have long carried.

The taxis will carry coolers full of Fuze flavors in the new 18.5 oz. plastic bottles, which retain the wrapping and the distinctive shape, but can be recycled.

Fuze will also drop complimentary cases of product in the new packaging at Hamptons-area beach rental houses in return for feedback on the brand.

“The Hamptons are a great venue to launch our new plastic bottles,” Fuze Media Manager Brenda Goldblatt said in a statement. “Because the bottles are lighter and more portable, they are great alternatives to our glass bottles when you’re out at the beach.”

“This campaign is the perfect way to reach consumers while they are outside and traveling during the summer months,” Titan Worldwide CEO Don Allman said in a statement.

Fuze Beverage LLC sells non-carbonated drinks enhanced with vitamins and minerals in supermarkets and convenience stores around the nation.
