Former OMB Director to Give Keynote at DMA Annual

Mitch Daniels, former director of the Office of Management and Budget under President George W. Bush, will give the Hall of Fame keynote address at the Direct Marketing Association’s 86th Annual Conference and Exhibition. Daniels will speak on Oct. 14: The conference runs between Oct. 11-15.

As director of the OMB, Daniels oversaw the preparation of the federal budget and coordinated its implementation within the executive branch. His talk will include insights on the economy as well as his thoughts on future business, economic and governmental issues.

Before joining the administration, Daniels was senior vice president of corporate strategy and policy for Eli Lilly and Company.

The conference will also feature a keynote by Tom Brokaw, anchor of NBC Nightly News.
