Food Network Sends Chef to Consumer BBQ

‘Tis the season for grilling and The Food Network is sending its popular host Bobby Flay to one viewer’s home this summer for a backyard barbecue.

Fans of the chef’s Food Network shows Hot Off the Grill, FoodNation with Bobby Flay and Boy Meets Grill will be directed to www.grillalldaywithbobbyflay.com to enter the sweepstakes. The campaign runs from June 16 to July 14. Flay will visit the winner’s hometown to teach the host and 50 friends secrets of the open flame. He’ll also bring along a Weber Grill, a $10,000 cash prize and autographed copies of his cookbook Boy Meets Grill.

New York City-based Food Network teamed with Time Warner’s cable affiliate system to support the sweeps with on-air spots and P-O-P displays. Seven regional winners will receive Weber Grills and 500 score more autographed copies of Boy Meets Grill.

The Food Network, New York City, is owned by Knoxville, TN-based E.W. Scripps Network. RPMC, Los Angeles, handles prize fulfillment.
