Fiscal 2003 Sales Up for InfoUSA

InfoUSA reported net sales for fiscal 2003 of $311.3 million, compared to $302.5 million for 2002.

For the fiscal year ended Dec. 31., operating income was $48.6 million, or 16% of net sales, compared to $54.6 million, or 18% of net sales. Fiscal 2003 earnings per share were $0.38 compared to $0.40 for the previous year.

Net sales for the fourth quarter were $79.1 million compared to $74.6 million for the fourth quarter of 2002.

In a statement, Vin Gupta, chairman and CEO, noted that “Going forward, we are focused on internal revenue growth, with the ultimate goal of 10% long-term revenue growth. We have a potential market of over $10 billion and we intend to gain market share gradually by leveraging our consumer and business databases into many distribution channels.”

The company’s Donnelley Group, previously known as the large business group, reported fourth quarter 2003 revenues of $41.4 million versus $36.2 million for the comparable quarter of the prior year, and full year revenues of $156.0 million versus $146.8 million.

The infoUSA Group small business group posted 2003 fourth quarter revenues of $37.6 million, versus $38.3 million last year. For fiscal year 2003, this group had revenue of $155.4 million, versus $155.7 million last year.
