Fingerhut Cos. Inc., the Minneapolis-based direct marketer, has named John Buck president and chief operating officer. In his new role, Buck will report to Lansing and oversee the areas of operations, finance, administration, information services and human resources.
Buck, who most recently served as executive vice president of finance and administration at Fingerhut, will also retain his position as president of Fingerhut Business Services, Inc. (FBSI), a subsidiary of Fingerhut that provides infrastructure support and information services to Internet retail companies and other businesses that want to sell direct to the consumer.
