Fingerhut has teamed up with AT&T WorldNet Service to offer a co-branded Internet service to customers.
AT&T’s i495 Internet service will provide consumers with a variety of online features for $4.95 a month. In addition, “the Fingerhut page comes up first,” when the person goes online, said Ben Saukko, a spokesperson for Fingerhut.
Customers will get up to six e-mail addresses and up to 60 MB for a personal Web page.
Minnetonka-based Fingerhut sells merchandise through several channels, including catalogs and its Web site (www.fingerhut.com). It also publishes the Figi’s, Arizona Mail Order, Bred Fair, Brownstone Studio, Lew Magram and Popular Club catalogs.
