Federated Department Stores Inc. has notified an additional 512 Fingerhut employees that they will loss their jobs, according to Associated Press.
The notices went to 330 workers in St. Cloud, 112 in Plymouth and 70 in Minnetonka, according to AP.
Federated sent federally mandated notices to 3,700 employees in January, and plays to lay off 3,300 people on Friday. (DIRECT Newsline, April 3).
Some of the remaining 400 have resigned, and others have been given extensions, according to AP.
The 3,300 being terminated on Friday include 2,400 in Minnesota and 900 in Tennessee, the wire service reported.
