Experian has acquired three affiliate credit bureaus: AQM Information Solutions, Brockton, MA; Credit Bureau of Dalton, Inc., Dalton, GA; and Credit Bureau of Kingsport in Kingsport, TN.
Terms of the acquisitions were not announced.
The purchases mark the beginning of an acquisition strategy scheduled for the next two to three years. Experian currently has affiliate agreements with 38 bureaus that provide regional customers with consumer credit, business, automotive and marketing information from Experian.
“Integrating the affiliate channel into Experian North America will enable us to offer all our clients a more seamless interaction with Experian and a full range of products to help them optimize relationships with their customers,” Rick Gallagher, senior vice president of corporate development said in a statement.
