Experian has acquired the consumer credit assets of three regional credit bureaus: Credit Bureau of Provo, Provo, UT; Credit Bureau of Ogden, Utah, and United One Resoruces, Wilkes-Barre, PA.
Terms of the acquisitions were not available at deadline.
Credit Bureau of Provo, which has been in business for 65 years, will be integrated into Experian. The other two firms, which sold only their credit assets, will continue to operate their other businesses.
Credit Bureau of Ogden will continue to offer mortgage and collection products. United One Resources will market real estate and title insurance services.
Experian, Costa, Mesa, CA, has annual sales of more than $1.5 billion.
