Interactive promotions agency ePrize has named Matt Wise as its chief executive officer. The position takes effect March 1.
Wise replaces chief executive office Josh Linkner who founded the company in 1999. Linkner will continue to work at the agency full time as chairman focusing on innovation and building client relationships, the company said.
Since 2006, Wise has worked as chief executive officer for Q Interactive. He is credited with transforming the company from its origins as a coupon and savings site into a multi-channel marketing services company that is widely regarded as a leader in the lead-generation and e-mail marketing fields. He also led the company’s expansion into the U.K. and the purchase of two companies, PostMaster Direct and Vente.
Wise is a member of the Interactive Advertising Bureau’s board of directors. He has also worked for DraftFCB, and entrepreneurial start-ups that he helped grow and sell, including Delphion, a spinoff from IBM, and Apartments.com.
In a related development, Wise’s former CEO post at Q interactive will be filled by Dale Baker. As co-founder and head of Intrepid Investments, Baker led the 2008 acquisition of the Q Interactive ad network and multichannel marketing agency and its CoolSavings brand.
