Epixtar Corp., a call center operator, will acquire Innovative Marketing Strategies Inc. and its Philippine subsidiary, Innovative Marketing Strategies International, Inc, for $14.4 million in cash and stock.
IMS has call centers in Wheeling, WV; Duluth, MN; and Pittsburg, KS. IMS Asia is located in the Makati area of Metropolitan Manila.
Epixtar, Miami, has been building call center operations in the Philippines since last year. To date the firm has acquired I-Call Global Services, Corp. and expanded that company’s former location in Alabang (a Manila suburb) to approximately 250 seats.
Completion of the transaction is subject to, the approval of the Epixtar board of directors.
