Search engine marketing firm Efficient Frontier will bring its search marketing expertise to the Japanese market through a partnership with Vixia, an e-marketing subsidiary of international trading company Mitsui & Co. Ltd.
Mitsui currently provides paid search services in the Japanese online market to Japanese advertisers and agencies.
“Mitsui is the ideal partner in Japan because of its deep experience in search marketing and other online advertising sectors,” said Ellen Siminoff, president and CEO of Efficient Frontier in a release. “The alliance will allow us to expand our sophisticated SEM solutions in a rapidly growing marketplace.”
As part of the deal, Mitsui has taken an investment stake in Mountain View CA-based Efficient Frontier.
