Auction site eBay plans to increase sales ads on its Web site, and will partner with America Online to target potential advertisers, published reports said.
In spite of being one of the most visited sites on the Internet, eBay has resisted posting a lot of ads on its site. The site currently sells small ads for E-Stamp.com and Sun Microsystems, among a few others, at the bottom of the site.
