Dunkin’ Donuts is honoring teachers in Michigan for their dedication and service next week with an extra perk—free coffee.
As part of its America Runs on Dunkin’ ad campaign, Dunkin’ Donuts has designated Sept. 13 as Teacher Appreciation Day for Michigan teachers. Teachers can receive a free, large coffee between 6 a.m. and 6 p.m. Sept. 13 at any one of Michigan’s 75 Dunkin’ Donuts stores. Teachers must show a school i.d. to receive the free beverage.
The free offering is Dunkin’ Donuts first of its kind for the Canton, MA-based chain.
“We believe that teachers play a big role in keeping America running,” said
Nick Spencer, Dunkin’ Donuts marketing manager, in a statement. ” A free cup of our signature coffee is a way of saying thank you, in addition to helping them stay alert, focused and fueled for the coming school day.”
