Dunkin Donuts Creates Customer Engagement Post

Dunkin’ Donuts has named Cynthia Ashworth to the newly created position of vice president of consumer engagement.

In her new role, Ashworth is responsible for Dunkin’ Donuts’ consumer messaging, including advertising, media, interactive marketing and in-store retail. She reports to Frances Allen, Dunkin’ Donuts brand marketing officer.

The post took effect Sept. 2.

Ashworth joins Dunkin’ Donuts from the Oxygen Network, where she most recently was senior vice president of marketing. There, she was in charge of all consumer and business-to-business marketing for the media company. Previously, Ashworth spent eight years with the advertising agency, Kirshenbaum Bond + Partners, where she led the account management department. Before that, she was a partner and account director with JWT.

Ashworth relocated to the Boston area from Brooklyn, New York, for the job, Dunkin’ Donuts said.
