Draft London Wins Teacher Account

Draft London has secured a three-year contract to work as part of the Teacher Training Agency’s multi-agency campaign team.

Draft will provide direct marketing materials to support the TTA’s ‘Use your head. Teach.’ campaign, targeting those with math, science and modern language degrees as well as music and religious education graduates. Draft will also provide materials to encourage more applicants from minority ethnic groups, people with disabilities and men interested in teaching in primary schools.

The direct marketing efforts will center on encouraging applicants to Initial Teacher Training (ITT), a program leading to Qualified Teacher Status, a requirement of teaching in a state maintained school.

Draft’s online and offline efforts on the campaign are expected to debut this month.

“The target audience is varied, which presents interesting challenges in terms of strategy and targeting, and for the creative,” said Sez Maxted, managing director at Draft London. “There is immense enthusiasm at the TTA, and a real openness to new ideas, which is great for us as an agency.”
