DoubleClick CFO Steps Down

Posted on by Chief Marketer Staff

Stephen Collins, the chief financial officer for DoubleClick Inc., New York, will step down from his position Aug. 10. He plans to remain on board through the end of the first quarter of 2002 to work on some strategic initiatives, the company said.

Replacing Collins will be Bruce Dalziel, the company’s vice president of finance and operations for the technology, data and research businesses, who will become the acting CFO.

The move comes as the company, which has been aggressively trying to cut costs, struggles with a slump in advertising sales. Last month the company said it expected lower revenues as it saw little sign of an ad rebound.
