Several direct marketing firms have donated products and services for an auction to raise funds for the Direct Marketing Educational foundation.
L.L Bean donated a camping package for two, Omaha Steaks a year’s worth of gourmet steaks and other food, and AOL has offered mobile communicators with a year’s free service.
The Direct Marketing Association will donate seminar registrations, and John Fleider, a charter board member of the DMEF, has offered airline tickets.
The silent auction will run during the DMA’s annual fall conference in San Francisco on Oct. 19-23.
The DMEF is still seeking auction items with a retail value of $200 or more.
