The Direct Marketing Association applauded Rep. John McHugh (R-NY) for issuing draft legislation that tries to make the U.S. Postal Service (USPS) fiscally stable and competitive.
McHugh, who serves on the House Committee on Government Reform, issued draft legislation, the “Postal Accountability and Enhancement Act,” that seeks to preserve the universal postal system, provide postal management and employees with the tools to survive in the changing delivery and communications marketplace.
