DM Agency Expert Communications Joins Omnicom

Diversified Advertising Services, a division of ad conglomerate Omnicom Goup Inc., has acquired direct-response agency Expert Communications Inc.

San Francisco-based ECI specializes in one-to-one marketing for highly regulated industries such as financial services, telecommunications and utilities.

In addition to offering account services, production and creative functions, ECI offers in-house database resources, on-site data warehousing, modeling and analysis.

ECI will operate as part of Omnicom’s Star marketing group of CRM-focused agencies, a division that includes Javelin Direct, Critical Mass, Innovyx and Optima.
