DIC Entertainment Taps Modders for Worldwide Consumer Products

DIC Entertainment has named Cynthia Modders as senior VP-worldwide consumer products, effective immediately. She replaces Nancy Fowler, who now works as DIC’s senior VP-business development, consumer products.

In her new role, Modders oversees the development and implementation of licensing and merchandising programs for DIC’s entertainment and lifestyle brands, including Horseland, McDonald’s vintage, McKids, Strawberry Shortcake, iZ, Madeline, Classic Trolls and Trollz. In addition, Modders helps acquire new children’s properties for the company, as well as spearheads DIC’s global brand management team and licensees around the world.

Prior to joining DIC, Modders worked as senior VP as NBC/Universal where she oversaw all licensing, merchandising and retail development activities for the U.S.

In her new role, Fowler oversees new initiatives and continues to manage the McDonald’s brand licensing business for DIC.
