The winners are database directors, who oversee the development and implementation of database marketing solutions. The top salary reported for them is $210,000, according to the latest salary survey from Crandall Associates Inc., New York.
Most are making less than that, but they still lead the field, notes Crandall.
Directors with seven or more years of experience are averaging $137,400 to $158,800. Those with four to seven years are in the $117,000-$142,300 range. Novices, those with up to three years in the business, are pulling down $106,700 to $125,000.
