Cross Media Signs Marketing Pact With Traffix

Cross Media Marketing Corp., a one-to-one marketing company, has entered into an agreement with Traffix Inc. to allocate a portion of its consumer e-mail database to third party offers marketed by Traffix.

Under the terms of the one-year agreement, Traffix will pay a $300,000 licensing fee to New York-based Cross Media for an undisclosed amount of advertising inventory. Cross Media and Traffix will then share revenue generated from the Traffix offers which is expected to amount to at least $2 million.

In addition, Traffix can make multiple monthly offers to all of Cross Media’s Internet units including members of Cross Media’s membership clubs including Premia, Destinations Direct LifeMinders.

The transaction also requires Pearl River, NY-based Traffix to acquire club members for Cross Media through its own media channels.
