Crandall Releases DM Salary Guide

Crandall Associates Inc. has released its 2002 National Salary Guide for direct marketing and telesales.

The guide offers a survey of 56 job descriptions with base salaries and tenure.

The following are some of the findings:

*Consumer catalog marketing director with one-to-three years of experience ($76,300 to $87,800), four to seven years ($86,900 to $105,300) and seven plus years ($98,700 to $139,200). The highest reported salary was $210,000.

*Database manager with one-to-three years of experience ($68,100 to $79,200), four to seven years ($79,900 to $96,800) and seven plus years ($93,700 to $115,100). The highest reported salary was $145,000.

*Internet marketing manager with one-to-three years of experience ($55,700 to $71,200), four to seven years ($72,500 to $95,800) and seven plus years ($89,900 to $112,400). The highest reported salary was $125,000.

*Corporate list manager with one-to-three years of experience ($42,900 to $53,700), four to seven years ($48,500 to $57,800) and seven plus years ($56,200 to $64,900). The highest reported salary was $92,000.

*Business products and services marketing manager with one-to-three years of experience ($51,800 to $59,200), four to seven years ($58,600 to $68,000) and seven plus years ($65,300 to $75.500). The highest reported salary was $125,000.
