Coors Brewing Co. will stay on as the official malt beverage of the Colorado Rockies baseball team. The brewer has signed a 10-year deal to sponsor the team, including promotional, advertising, licensing and hospitality rights.
The renewed agreement will also retain the “Blue Moon Brewing Co. at the Sandlot” as the exclusive on-site brewer at Coors Field, home to the defending National league champion Rockies. Coors will also retain exclusive naming rights to the premium seating and lounge behind home plate, which will be called the “Coors Clubhouse.” The picnic area behind centerfield will go by the name of the “Coors Field Picnic Area.”
The renewed partnership agreement will be publicized with market-wide TV spots, radio and print campaigns and in-game promotions.
“Coors Brewing Co. has long been a highly valued partner of the Colorado Rockies, and we are very excited to extend our relationship,” Rockies Senior Vice President of Business Operations Greg Feasel said in a statement.
