Coldwater Creek has dismissed Arthur Andersen LLP as its independent public accountants. The Sandpoint, ID-based women’s apparel, gift and accessories catalog replaced Arthur Andersen with KPMG LLP.
In papers filed with the Securities and Exchange Commission, Coldwater Creek said that it had not had any disagreements with Arthur Andersen on any matter of accounting principle or practice, financial statement disclosure, or auditing scope or procedure.
Arthur Andersen has experienced a steady exodus of clients since it became entangled in the bankruptcy of energy firm Enron.
