EarthLink Wins $11 Million Spam Judgment

A federal judge in Atlanta has awarded EarthLink an $11 million judgment against Nevada Internet marketing company KSTM, LLC for allegedly sending unsolicited e-mail violating the Can Spam Act through EarthLink's servers, the Internet service provider said Wednesday.

Poland has added an anti-spam provision in a draft amendment to its telecommunications law, according to TMCnet. The new regulation would make spamming—which the report did not define—a crime punishable by a fine of up to $32,000.
