Perdue Farms Inc. has named Catapult Marketing as its agency of record for national consumer and retail promotions.
The first new work will hit the market in January around frozen fully cooked, perfection portions and refrigerated breaded products. Some campaigns are already underway.
“This puts us in a perimeter category,” Peter Cloutier, president, east of Catapult Marketing said. “The perimeter is where the battle for the shopping trip is happening right now and that’s a really important place for us to be.”
Catapult is working with Perdue’s trade and brand management groups to develop account level promotional programs that reflect an understanding of the retailers’ shoppers.
The work was won after an agency review that lasted six months. Saatchi X had been handling the account, sources said.
