Cabela’s Inc. posted net income of $9.1 million for the second quarter, an increase over $7.3 million in the prior year.
The direct marketer and retailer reported revenue of $549.2 million for the quarter ended June 30, a 4.4% increase over $526 million last year.
The Sidney, NE firm posted direct revenue of $199.5 million for a quarter, a 3.6% decrease from $207 million in the prior year.
This happened despite a 10.1% reduction of direct marketing costs during the quarter, according to the company.
