C3i Receives Incentives to Relocate Call Center

C3i Inc. has secured state funding to relocate its call center operations from Morristown, NJ to Plains, PA. Its new 25,000-square-feet call center is expected to become fully operational by April.

The company plans to hire more than 200 new employees within the next three years. It’s presently looking to fill more than 100 positions. C3i specializes in customer relationship management services for life sciences and pharmaceutical firms.

It worked with the Greater Wilkes-Barre Chamber of Business and Industry to obtain $1.5 million funding from the Pennsylvania Department of Community and Economic Development. It’s eligible to apply for an equipment and machinery loan up to $500,000, a $400,000 grant, $160,000 in job training funds and $458,000 in job creation tax credits.

C3i also provides call center and other services to pharmaceutical industry clients from offices located in India and Bulgaria.
