Brookstone Inc. reported total sales of $238 million for the fourth quarter, up 8.5% from $219 million last year.
The Merrimack, NH company reported direct marketing sales of $47 million for the quarter ended Jan. 29, up 24.5% over $37.8 million last year.
Management attributed this to a 46.7% increase in circulation.
“Overall, we are pleased with our performance in 2004, particularly the significant growth of our direct marketing segment,” said chairman Michael Anthony in a statement.
