Some British Airways ads have raised the ire of Israeli police after hundreds of road signs directing consumers to London landmarks were placed in Israeli cities.
A Reuters report quoted a police spokesman who said the signs could be confusing to drivers because the ads looked similar to official road signs.
The signs were scheduled to come down yesterday, ending a two-week “London is closer than you think” campaign.
