Next month, Boodle.com will launch “May It Be Organic,” an online coupon program promoting organic foods.
Boodle is run by Consumer Networks, a network of newspaper development groups. Visitors who log onto Boodle.com will be able to access a network of 300 newspaper sites, according to the San Digeo-based company.
The promotion will feature educational information about organic food, recipes and coupons from brands such as Muir Glen, Cascadian Farm, Ragu Organic, Stonyfield Farm and Gerber Tender Harvest.
Newspapers currently working with Consumer Networks include publications from the Gannett Co., Tribune Co., The Copley Press, Freedom Communications and Knight Ridder development groups.
