Blockbuster Picks Acxiom for CRM Suite

Blockbuster Inc. has purchased a new customer relationship management system created by Acxiom Corp. The new platform will allow the Dallas-based entertainment firm to achieve richer interactions with its customers through improved use of customer information. The value of the contract was not disclosed.

The new system consists of a customer marketing database that consolidates data from multiple sources and resides on an IBM server at Acxiom
