Archway Sells Merchandising Business

Fulfillment house Archway Marketing Services has sold its merchandising division to Storecast Holdings.

Malvern, PA-based Storecast bought Archway Merchandising Services for an undisclosed sum.

The sale leaves Rogers, MN-based Archway Marketing Services with two core businesses; its Trade Distribution and Consumer Services units. Trade Distribution handles procurement, warehousing, kitting and distribution of sales and marketing materials, including literature, samples, P-O-P materials and product. Consumer Services handles the design and execution of rebate, sweepstakes and continuity programs, including fulfillment and customer relations.

Archway will use the proceeds of the sale to expand those two divisions.

“Over the last year these businesses have experienced tremendous growth, as evidenced by our opening of new facilities in Minnesota, Michigan, Maryland and California. The sale of our merchandising business has generated capital that will allow us to continue to invest in facilities, technology and talent to meet the expanding needs of our clients,” said Archway CEO Clay Perfall in a statement.

Archway Marketing Services and Storecast signed a joint-services agreement with to continue providing Archway clients with merchandising work in tandem with trade and consumer services.
