A memorial service for Andi Emerson, the mail order legend and founder of the John Caples International awards who died on Feb. 13, will be held at 3:30 p.m. on Feb. 28 at the Episcopal Church of The Transfiguration (Little Church Around the Corner) at 1 East 29th Street in Manhattan.
Emerson was not able to enjoy fragrance in recent years, so in lieu of donations, she requested flowers. Camellias and snapdragons were particular favorites. The family suggests that donations be made to Memorial Sloan Kettering, earmarked for the Pediatric Unit.
