American Institute for Cancer Research Picks Merkle for Donation Processing

The American Institute for Cancer Research, a charity that provides educational services regarding diet, nutrition and cancer, has chose Merkle to provide a variety of data processing services. Merkle will start working for the Washington, DC-based organization this summer. Terms of the contract were not disclosed.

The American Institute for Cancer Research will use Merkle for opening and sorting received mail, data capture and daily activity reporting, cashiering and lockbox services, electronic credit card processing and other services. Lanham, Md.-based Merkle expects to process more than 1.5 million transactions per year for the non-profit, according to the company.
