American IDC Corp., Los Angeles, has acquired all the outstanding shares of ThunderRoad, Inc. and its online matchmaking Web site, MatchRanger.com.

Since its inception in February 2002, MatchRanger has enrolled 147,890 members.

MatchRanger’s current CEO, Michael McQuown, has joined the management team of American IDC as vice president of sales and marketing and chief operating officer.
