American Greetings Serve Valentine’s Offers

American Greetings is serving up something extra sweet for Valentine’s Day through its brand Strawberry Shortcake along with DIC Entertainment and Wal-Mart to help children share a piece of their heart with local charities.

The promotion runs from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Feb. 5 at more than 3,000 participating Wal-Mart stores.

Through the one-day event, children who visit the girls’ department at participating Wal-Mart stores can send Valentine’s Day messages of goodwill. Children can write a note on a Strawberry Shortcake sticker, which will be placed on a Strawberry Shortcake standee. Once each standee is filled, it will be donated to a local charitable organization.

Children who participate in the promotion will receive a free Strawberry Shortcake coloring sheet and a Strawberry Shortcake bookmark.

In a separate promotion, American Greetings and Baskin-Robbins are pairing up for a Valentine’s Day promotion that puts the “sweet” in “sweetheart.”
