Analytics firm Alterian has made four new appointments designed to bolster its marketing efforts. The new positions are a mixture of promotions and new hires.
Jason McNamara was named Chief Marketing Officer, a newly created position. In this new role, McNamara will direct the company’s overall marketing strategy, and will report to CEO David Eldridge. McNamara was previously a divisional president at Alterian, and lead the online division. McNamara was also CEO of Dynamics Direct Inc., an email and online marketing software firm acquired by Alterian in 2006.
Bob Barker joins Alterian as VP of corporate marketing, another newly created position. Before joining Alterian, he was marketing director for EMEA at SAS. Bob Hale was named Alterian’s VP of business development. Hale came to Alterian through the acquisition of Dynamics Direct Inc. where he was VP of business development. Joe Stanhope was promoted to director of global product marketing, after previously serving as , director of marketing for Alterian North America. Before joining Alterian in 2004, Stanhope was VP of marketing at MarketerNet, LLC and he has also held various sales and marketing positions at Experian. All three report to McNamara.
