Alcone Taps Murphy for Consumer Lab

Alcone Marketing Group has hired Kraft Foods veteran Beth Murphy to help run the promotion agency’s Consumer Lab research division.

Murphy joins Alcone as director of consumer insights, a new post at the Darien, CT-based shop.

She had been senior market research manager at Kraft, where she had worked for the past five years. Before that, Murphy held consumer-research posts at Maybelline-Garnier and Canon USA.

Murphy reports to Alcone’s chief marketing officer, Jim Zembruski. She started work at the agency on Dec. 11.
