ALC of New York, LLC, has formed listXchange.com, an online service that helps mailers activate dormant list exchange balances by trading them to other mailers in return for active, mailable names. By exchanging list balances, mailers that are owed names from lists that no longer perform for them can gain access to lists that will provide viable targets. Participants include Gump’s By Mail, Domestications, One Step Ahead, Leaps and Bounds, Smith & Hawken, and Appleseed’s, among others.
