Adknowledge Social Advertising Reaches 10 Billion Monthly Ad Impressions

Kansas City, MO – July 22, 2008 – Adknowledge’s Social Advertising division, Cubics.com, has announced that it is now serving more than 10 billion ad impressions per month on social networks such as Facebook, Myspace & Bebo. This volume, now more than 5 times as large as Social Media, its next largest competitor in the space, makes Adknowledge the unrivaled leader in social network advertising. “Our massive reach allows advertisers to get their message out to an extremely large number of online consumers in an environment where they spend a large portion of their time,” says Dwayne Lafleur, General Manager of Adknowledge Social Advertising. Recent studies have shown that more than 16% of all online time is spent on Social Networks, which is greater than the amount of time spent on Google. In addition, within the social networks, social applications engage users for longer than any other activity on social networks such as Facebook.

Cubics.com allows advertisers to target users based upon detailed demographic, interest, and behavioral data. Dwayne Lafleur explains, “Our advanced technology identifies segments of traffic that work for each individual advertiser. For example, in a campaign that we ran for pink iPhones, our system automatically determined the segment of our network that was most interested in the offering – in this case females, 13-18, in the afternoon, on weekdays, on gaming applications. In this case, the percentage of people that clicked, and ultimately expressed interest in the product on the advertiser’s website, was more than 25 times the average for the rest of the network. This non-personally identifiable data is obtained and used by Adknowledge in an unobtrusive, privacy-conscious manner that complies with the regulations of all of the social networks. We view the social networks as our partners and respect both their policies and the privacy of all users. We are able to utilize non-identifiable data to provide advertisers with an extremely powerful offering, while still maintaining the privacy that social network users expect.” In contrast, competing social ad networks have recently come under increased scrutiny for using profile data in ways that some users find offensive and intrusive.

Cubics.com’s third quarter plans call for a continued rapid expansion of ad inventory on Facebook, Myspace, andnew social network platforms. Adknowledge recently announced a program for Myspace application developers that provides them with free advertising to promote their applications within Myspace. “The Myspace application platform does not contain many of the viral features that the Facebook platform does, so we are working worked with application developers to come up with a system that allows them to monetize their Myspace application and build their user-base simultaneously. Adknowledge now matches 100% of money that Myspace application developers earn from their application in free advertising for that application. Our goal with this offering is to help grow the entire application platform on Myspace and make it as vibrant as the Facebook platform.” says Gaetan Voyer-Perrault, Publisher Relations Manager at Adknowledge.
