Acxiom Revenue, Income Up in Third Quarter

Acxiom Corp. generated $312.4 million in third quarter revenue, up from $255.2 million a year ago. Acquisitions made up 15 percentage points of the Little Rock, AR-based data firm’s revenue increase. The company also reported net income of $23.5 million, up from just under $20 million a year ago. The quarter ended Dec. 31.

In early January, Acxiom acquired SmartDM, a direct marketing services firm based in Nashville, TN. SmartDM specializes in offering marketing services to small-to-mid-sized companies.
