Broomfield, CO-based Abacus Direct, a division of DoubleClick Inc. plans to produce a series of market research products, explaining why and how customers visit specific Web sites for a research syndicate.
The syndicate is a group of companies with related business interests. The reports will target Abacus’ core market segments: catalog, retail, business-to-business, publishing and online areas.
The research will describe customers’ perception of the sites and the product offerings as well as their perspective of the online ordering and purchasing experience. It will also compare and contrast individual participant results with the entire syndicate.
