Dale Hilpert has left his post as chief executive officer of Williams-Sonoma Inc., the company announced this morning.
Edward A. Mueller, a board member, was named as his replacement, effective immediately.
The kitchen-and-homeware retailer did not give any reason for the sudden departure. Chairman Howard Lester issued a statement saying that the company would like to thank Dale for his many contributions during his tenure, and we wish him well in his future endeavors.”
