Welch’s has hired Chris Heye as vice president of marketing, the top marketing job at the food company.
Heye joined Welch’s on April 23, filling a post that had been empty for a few months. He had been vice president of marketing for the Americas at BP/Castrol and earlier worked at Johnson & Johnson.
He’s the second senior executive to join Welch’s this spring. The Concord, MA-based company hired David Engelkemeyer as vice president of operations and technology in March. He had been vice president of worldwide operations at printing company Banta Corp. (now RR Donnelley), with earlier work in senior operations jobs at Zoots, Avery Dennison and Procter & Gamble.
“With the addition of this kind of top talent we can look at the entire organization through a different lens to determine what’s working well and where we can make improvements,” said David Lukiewski, Welch’s president and CEO, in a statement
